People Painters Group

Meets Wednesdays from 1-3pm at the Art Center

The People Painters is a special interest group within the Art Association that meets weekly to practice and improve their skills in painting people. The group consists of artists of all levels, from beginners to experienced painters, who share a passion for capturing the human form on canvas. Each week, the People Painters group uses a live model to pose for them during their painting session. This hands-on experience with a live model helps the artists to improve their understanding of anatomy, proportions, and lighting.

The People Painters group also organizes occasional workshops and exhibitions to showcase their work and further develop their skills. Overall, the group provides a space for artists to come together, learn from each other, and hone their craft in painting people.
